Some voices today claim we live in a disenchanted world. I started my own research from this statement, as I was very curious to find out whether or not we really do live in a disenchanted world. My starting point were the early anthropologists, who showed interest in this subject, even if, at first, only as "armchair anthropologists". My research continued nowadays, in the internet era, when magic has changed and has adapted itself to the new medium. It seems that magic is even closer to people today, and that is due to the new technology and to internet connection. I was also curious about the places where magical practices can be encountered nowadays, and I discovered that these places are the neo-pagan communities which can be categorised under the wider umbrella of the New Age spiritual movement. I found Iulia Ha deu's figure to be representative and a symbol for on line magical practices today. I discovered information about her on several Romanian sites. After this research I can state that our world is not disenchanted, especially our on line world, which seems to be a place where magic is just a click away, as people seem to be interested in magic.
