Informationen zum Autor DIANE RICHARDSON is Professor of Sociology at Newcastle University, UK. Victoria Robinson is Senior Lecturer in Sociology at the University of Sheffield. She has held posts at the Universities of Manchester and Newcastle. Her other books include Mundane Heterosexualities: From Theory to Practices, with J. Hockey and A. Meah, (Palgrave, 2007) and she has co-edited, with D. Richardson the third edition of the best selling text book Introducing Gender and Women's Studies, (Palgrave, 2008). Victoria Robinson , PhD, is reader in sociology at the University of Sheffield, UK. Her research interests are extreme sport, rock climbing in particular; gender and sexualities; and men and masculinities. Her published works include Everyday Masculinities: Male Identity and Rock Climbing ; Heterosexualities: From Theory to Practices ; and Maculinities in Transition . She is also coeditor, with D. Richardson, of the series Genders and Sexualities in the Social Sciences . She received her doctorate at the University of Manchester, UK.
