About the author

James Frederick Bruce has a business degree in marketing from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. He worked in residential real estate sales in Milwaukee, Wis., beginning in 1963, and later went on to become president of a real estate company. During his long career as a Realtor, he earned many prestigious designations and founded a title insurance company and mortgage company.
After retiring from the real estate business, he earned a degree in theology and cultural anthropology from Marquette University in Milwaukee.
His travels have taken him to nearly a hundred countries.
