Born in 1961 in Tivaouane (Senegal), Ndary Lo died in June 2017 in Lyon (France). He is recognized as a greatly talented sculptor whose renown spread far beyond the borders of his home country. This book reveals certain little-known aspects of the work of this artist, whose production was the outcome of his constant questioning of the world around him. The authors, who were all close to him and even assisted him in the creation of some of his major works, describe the different facets of his multiform oeuvre.
The essays by these recognized authors, combined with biographical information never before compiled and numerous photographs, allow readers to share the universe of this artistic demiurge. They represent a new milestone in the recognition of the artist, already considered one of the most important of his country.
