The present transcription of Cadenza was written as part of a complete recording of Penderecki's compositions for violoncello solo at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music in Luslavice in the summer of 2015. Numerous works by Penderecki are available in various versions for different instruments. Cadenza is also available in a version for violin solo.
