Émilie van Haute is Chair of the Department of Political Science at the Université libre de Bruxelles and Researcher at the Centre d’étude de la vie politique (Cevipol), Belgium.

Summary

This book analyses parties beyond the national borders and their increasing institutionalization abroad, in order to understand their development, their organisational specificities, their functions, and their impact on the party system and national politics at home.
