About the author










Dr Jyotirmay S Hegde is currently working as a Consulting ENT, Head and Neck & Endoscopic skull base surgeon at Columbia Asia Hospital, Whitefield, Bangalore. He completed his Masters in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli, Karnataka (India). He has also worked as a faculty in various capacities at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), Pondicherry, India. He is also a Fellow of the European board of Otolaryngology (FEBORL). He has also completed his Fellowship in Rhinology and Endoscopic skullbase surgery from University Hospital Aintree, Liverpool, UK. He was awarded with the Cipla fellowship award for the best outgoing student during my Masters. He is the recipient of the prestigious Dr P.N.Berry fellowship. He was awarded the British Annual Congress in Otolaryngology (BACO) fellowship during 2015 and the International visiting scholarship at American Academy of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery at Chicago in 2017. He has also been a recipient of the travelling fellowship by the German Society of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in 2017. He is also received Gold medal for the best video presentation at AOICON, Kolkata, India. He has published in several peer reviewed scientific publications and presented in national and international conferences, courses and workshops.
Dr Hemanth Vamanshankar graduated from K.S.Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore in 2008, and completed Diploma Otolaryngology from St John's Medical College, Bangalore in 2011 and DNB-ENT from Railway Hospital, Ayanavaram, Chennai in 2014. He was awarded MRCS- ENT from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. He has to his credit, 25 indexed publications of national and international repute. He is currently working as a medical officer and Consultant ENT surgeon at the Divisional Railway Hospital, Bangalore (South western railway).
