About the author










Academically the author holds a BA degree in Economics, MA (Economics), and MSC (Systems Development). In addition to that he also had the opportunity to undertake short professional development courses in Tanzania, South Africa, Korea, USA, Ghana and Ethiopia.

The author is a planning cum transport economist with long working experience in government and in private sector, at senior level. The author worked in government especially in ministries related to infrastructure development through which he got exposed to extensive policy and development matters that had great impact on the enhancement of his local and international exposure. He worked for about seven years as an international consultant in his field of specialization. In that process he not only, became coordinator of matters related to regional and international cooperation including management of protocols for infrastructure development but also engaged in preparing development programs for the government. He later retired from government service and for over seven years served as an international consultant before he quit that engagement and focused his attention on writing books.
