Misadventures in Entrepreneuring(R) is the brainchild of Lucy-Rose Walker and Gayle Mann who, combined, have been personally involved in the start-up, growth and eventual sale of Entrepreneurial Spark over the last 7 years. They have experienced their own "misadventures' as well as the many misadventures of the 4000+ entrepreneurs they have worked with along the way, most of which were entirely psychological.
It focuses on the psychology of entrepreneuring® and how crucial it is to getting in, and out, of many of the most common misadventures. Dispelling myths about the daily challenges entrepreneurs face, and providing reassurance and inspiration, Misadventures in Entrepreneuring® delivers support and guidance to entrepreneurs of all shapes and sizes through the authors' story and those of many other entrepreneurs as they cope day to day.

About the author

Over the last 7 years Lucy-Rose Walker and Gayle Mann have been involved in the start-up, growth, and eventual sale of Entrepreneurial Spark. At its peak they had 13 hubs across the UK supporting over 600 entrepreneurs at any one time. They experienced their own “misadventures’ growing that business, as well as those of the 4000 entrepreneurs they worked with. They realised that no-one really talks about the realities of running your own business from an emotional perspective, so they decided to share their own experiences and those of others to help all those on the entrepreneurial journey.Over the last 7 years Lucy-Rose Walker and Gayle Mann have been involved in the start-up, growth, and eventual sale of Entrepreneurial Spark. Summary

Misadventures in Entrepreneuring is no ordinary business book; it’s a no-BS, open and humorous account of what it genuinely feels like to walk in the shoes of an entrepreneur daily. It’s about laughing, crying, making mistakes, having misadventures, drinking gin, how tough it really is to intertwine life and business, and how to make it work.
