About the author










Pilar Zambrano graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Argentina and holds PhD from the University of Navarra, Spain. She is Research Fellow at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) in Argentina. She has published numerous books, contributions and papers on legal interpretation and argumentation, practical reason, human dignity, the concept of a person and the right to life.
William Saunders is a graduate of the Harvard Law School. He is Law Fellow and Director of the Program in Human Rights of the Institute for Human Ecology as well as Director of the Center for Human Rights in the School of Arts and Sciences at The Catholic University in America. He is also Co-Director of the Center for Religious Liberty at the Columbus School of Law. He has written widely on human rights, international law, bioethics and religious liberty.
