The growth of a young child's physical abilities is truly amazing. Looking for all the physical abilities a child must develop to adjust to the world. There are complex physical tasks that require strength, coordination and perception learning like; seeing and recognizing others, rolling over, holding a bottle or cup, crawling around objects, walking and more. But and for sorry children suffering from cerebral palsy (CP), can not do so. CP is a movement disorder caused by an upper motorneuron (UMN) lesion in the developing brain (Rosenbaum et al., 2007). Of the patients with CP, 80-90% are classified as having spasticity. Secondary problems to spasticity include pain, muscle and soft tissue contracture, bony deformities, and as a result of these, increasing limitations in activity and function (Morrell et al., 2002).
