  • Norway: 2017 was yet another record year for Norwegian tourism. A cheaper Norwegian krone against the U.S. dollar which made Norway a cheaper holiday destination. Also, Norway is considered one of the safest travel destinations in the world. Online searches about Norway from the USA have increased by 52% since 2015.


  • Sweden: 2017 was a record year for tourism to Sweden, with a 7.4% increase in spending from 2016, and tourism continues to increase, according to the latest statistics government statistics. The US market has grown continuously between 2010 and in 2017, the number of U.S. visitors increased by 44% in that period.


  • Denmark: Denmark had a record year for tourism in 2018. Its life philosophy of ¿hygge,¿ a world-famous food scene, and a wildly popular Nordic Noir film industry are among attractions luring tourists. By 2021, Denmark is expected to have enough hotel beds to accommodate up to 10 million tourists, almost twice the country¿s population. Tourism to the city of Copenhagen is expected to increase almost 4% annually until 2020.


  • Finland: According to Business Finland, travel to Finland is growing at an annual rate of about 10%, and the outlook for the coming years is positive. Finland offers the peace and quiet of nature, security, cleanliness and authenticity.


  • Iceland: Iceland hosted a record 2.3 million foreign visitors in 2018. Americans are the top tourists to Iceland (700k in 2018, over 100k more than in 2017). With increasingly affordable flights, brand-new accommodations in the country¿s more remote areas, and tour outfitters that allow visitors unprecedented access, Iceland tourism is consistently on the rise.
