Zimmerman is Professor of Rural Sociology in the Department of Community and Leadership Development at the University of Kentucky, and the Historian for the Rural Sociological Society.Olaf F. Larson is Professor Emeritus of Rural Sociology in the Department of Development Sociology at Cornell University.
