An account of the proceedings of the Special Congress of archaeologists and anthropologists, held at Sarajevo in 1894.
- 165 ILLUSTRATIONS IN THE TEXT;
- 40 PLATE ILLUSTRATIONS;
- 4 SKETCH MAPS.
Second edition this work has the distinction of being the onlyrecord, in book form, of the problems submitted to, and discussed by, that learned body. The discussions on the early Iron Age cemeteries of Grlasinac and Jezerine are here supplemented by a new chapter on " The Civilisations of Hallstatt and La Thne " - entailing the addition of eight Plates of illustrations and some figures in the text.
With the exception of a few minor corrections in the text, the rest of the book remains unchanged.
The addition of an index-the omission of which in the first edition was strongly animadverted upon by many reviewers-will, it is hoped, considerably enhance the value of the book to those who may find it a convenient introduction to the study of the early Iron Age in Europe.
This book, "Rambles and studies in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Dalmatia SECOND EDITION. Revised and Greatly Enlarged", by Robert Munro, is a replication of a book originally published before 1900. It has been restored by human beings, page by page, so that you may enjoy it in a form as close to the original as possible.
