About the author

Eva Sørensen is Professor of Public Administration and Democracy, Department of Social Sciences and Business, Roskilde University, and Professor II at Nord University in Norway. Her main research interest is transformations in democratic governance in Western liberal societies and the implications of these transformations for making legitimate and effective political decisions. In her many publications and externally funded research projects on these topics, she pays specific attention to new developments in the relationship and interplay between politicians, public administrators, and citizens.
