About the author










Pete Shoemaker, along with his golf-professional brother Fred, co-authored the highly-successful book Extraordinary Golf: The Art of the Possible (Putnam, 1996). Pete has also composed and produced a companion song album entitled Extraordinary Golf (ExtraordinaryGolfAlbum.com).He is a lifelong golfer who, like most fathers, loved reading to his children as they grew up. The Dolphin Who Loves Golfin' is the perfect such book, with a message of joy and love of the game that will touch everyone's heart. Pete lives in Pacifica, California, with his wife Gail.Karen Donovan Matchette has worked as a cartoonist for popular syndicated strips such as "Dennis the Menace", "For Better or Worse", "The Flintstones" and "Scooby Doo".
