About the author

Mariana Trusson is a chartered engineer with over 20 years’ experience in the building services and sustainability sector. She has been involved in over 400 projects at different stages of their life, from master planning and strategy development, to post-occupancy and operation. She mentors younger engineers and designers, volunteers her time and expertise for organisations such as the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers and regularly gives talks and lectures on designing sustainable buildings across the UK.
