About the author
Susan Engelking founded Tiny Transit™ Strategies, an Austin-based grassroots movement that advocates, educates, and consults on protected networks for Neighborhood Electric Vehicles (NEVs*) and other low speed modes as a low-cost, low emission urban mobility solution. She has a master’s degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. in education, also from UT Austin, magna cum laude, with concentrations in English and history. Susan has teenagers in middle school and high school. Her prime directive for Tiny TransitTM Strategies is safe, low speed, low cost, low stress, low emission, climate-conscious mobility for their generation.
