About the author

John David Rhodes is Senior Lecturer in Literature and Visual Culture at the School of English, University of Sussex. He is author of Meshes of Afternoon (BFI Publishing, 2011), Stupendous, Miserable City: Pasolini's Rome (2007), and has co-edited Taking Place: Location and the Moving Image (2011), Michelangelo Antonioni: Centenary Essays (BFI Publishing, 2011), and On Michael Haneke (2010).
