Grylls is an English photographer, author and artist. His photography and artworks have been shown widely in the US including a mid-career retrospective at the University of Wisconsin in 1986. He is represented in several public collections, including Polaroid Inc, Williams College Massachusetts and the British National Media Museum. Grylls has been Professor of Photography and Video at Williams College Massachusetts and visiting Professor in Fine Arts at the University of Wisconsin, St Louis’s Washington University and at the University of South Dakota. He is the author and photographer of Oxford Then and Now , Cambridge Then and Now , Hong Kong Then and Now , Singapore Then and Now and Shanghai Then and Now.
