About the author










Michael was born in the Bronx, New York City. He attended high school at Power Memorial Academy and on graduation; Michael joined the US Navy and served stateside during the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged from the service, he attended evening classes at Pace University and graduated with a degree in marketing and advertising.
Michael spent the first ten years of his career at various advertising agencies until he founded his own direct marketing and advertising agency, serving as its CEO for 35 years. He has written numerous commercials and articles published in various trade journals and has been a featured participant in business panel discussions and industry workshops.
During his career in direct response, Michael has managed many successful television direct marketing campaigns for a wide range of direct-to-consumer products and Fortune 1000 brands. Michael has also been featured on the cover of Response Magazine and earned a triple platinum album award from Arista Records for his participation in the marketing of Arista Records 'Ultimate' Music series.
After the completion of the novels in The Sainted Trilogy, Michael spent some months adapting and completing The Sainted Trilogy as a four-season/32-episode series for cable or streaming. In addition to The Sainted Trilogy, he has authored a short story titled, The Death of My Father, a political satire titled Absolutely Positively Genuine Real Fake News and adapting it as a musical comedy. He has recently completed his work on a suspense thriller titled, The Serum and has now completed his latest novel, a humorous look at direct response TV promotions titled ...But wait There's More! Michael has also launched a blog, 'The Italian American Immigrant Experience' at https://thesaintedtrilogy.net/blog/.
Michael and his wife Joan have two sons, Anthony and Richard, daughters-in-law, Shannon and Christina, and six grandchildren. Mike and Joan spend time between their homes in Northport, NY, and Ave Maria, Florida.
