CSP vs PV - Concentrating Solar Power vs Photovoltaic

This book shows the feasibility study of CSP and PV. The motivation behind the solar energy is only an alternative source of energy. CSP or PV is one of the best solutions to harness electricity from the sun. In this study we have analyzed the opportunities of CSP or PV technology in Bangladesh and selected four suitable regions of Chittagong and we have designed the architecture of CSP (Parabolic Trough and Power Tower) and PV (with and without battery) plant with best requirements.

About the author

In 2018, Md. Masum Roni has completed his graduation specified in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology. He has an IEEE conference paper (ECCE - 2019). He has obtained 6th position in his department. Now, he works as a lecturer in a renewed Bangladeshi private university.
