About the author

Dr. Chijioke Ifeoma Okorie is currently the inaugural postdoctoral research fellow under the South African Research Chair in intellectual property, innovation and development at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. She also runs a copyright, internet and technology law consultancy in Nigeria – Penguide Advisory (penguideng.com) – and is a valued alumna of one of Nigeria’s leading commercial law firms.
