About the author










Arvin Farid received his PhD from Northeastern University, Boston MA, USA, with a focus on Geoenvironmental Engineering. He is currently an Associate Professor and the Graduate Coordinator of the Civil Engineering Department of Boise State University.Hongxin Chen received his PhD from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, HKSAR, China. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Geotechnical Engineering of Tongji University, China.
