About the author

Edmilson Costa Teixeira is Professor of Environmental Hydrodynamics and Water Resources Management at Federal University of Espírito Santo, Brazil and has experience as a consultant engineer for water and sewage treatment and industrial effluent treatment projects.
William Bonino Rauen is Adjunct Professor at the Department of Hydraulics and Sanitation of Federal University of Parana (UFPR), Brazil, and has teaching and research experience in fluid mechanics, environmental hydraulics, hydrodynamics, solute and sediment transport, as well as water engineering, sustainability and management issues.
