Informationen zum Autor Tomi Ungerer (1931-2019) was born in Strasbourg, France. He is a cartoonist known for authoring more than a hundred books, both for children and adults. In 1957, he moved to the United States, where he became well-known for his satirical advertising campaigns. In 1998, he was awarded the Hans Christian Andersen Prize.
