About the author

¿ukasz Bogucki is Professor of English Linguistics and Director of the Institute of English Studies at the University of ¿ód¿, which he has headed since 2012. His academic interests include translation and interpreting theory, inparticular audiovisual translation (AVT). He has published widely on AVT theory and co-edits ¿ód¿ Studies in Language.
