Sudan is considered a multi ethnic, regional, cultural and religious ingredients country. As a result of this diversity the ingredients engaged in numerous civil wars. The conflict of South Sudan was the first and largest; In return, many efforts were made to solve this conflict; the last was the CPA signed in Nivasha in 2005; which put an end to the South war, and granted the people of South Sudan the right of self-determination by the end of the transitional period in 2011. In the end, the Southerners chose separation and declared the South Sudan State. The secession was the result of several factors which collaborated together and both North and South Sudan were affected negatively. This discussion targeted to research these means by its internal and external sections; also the result of secession of both sides. The study also targeted the analysis and evaluation of the CPA and quest of the possibility of unity between North and South once more.
