The visual artist and ceramist, Jacques Kaufmann (France / Switzerland, 1954), has been creating over the world architectural and monumental installations for over 25 years, taking the brick as his starting point. From this simple unit shaped by the human hand, he integrates his projects into the scale of the landscape.
For the Musée Ariana, located at the heart of the international organisations in Geneva, Jacques Kaufmann explores the diversity and richness of the theme of the wall, its polysemy and ambivalence, but above all its poetics.
