Jochen Streb, geboren 1966 in Heidelberg, ist Professor für Wirtschaftsgeschichte an der Universität Mannheim. Zusammen mit Mark Spoerer verfasste er die Neue deutsche Wirtschaftgeschichte des 20. Jahrhunderts. Er ist Koordinator des DFG-Schwerpunktprogramms "Erfahrung und Erwartung" (zusammen mit Alexander Nützenadel). Im Jahr 2018 hat er zusammen mit Sibylle Lehmann-Hasemeyer den Preis der Schmölders-Stiftung für Verhaltensforschung im Wirtschaftsleben 2018 erhalten.
