About the author
Peter H. Yoon is a Senior Research Scientist at the Institute of Physical Science and Technology, University of Maryland, College Park. He is a leading expert in space plasma physics, and has been invited to a number of international universities as a visiting professor. These appointments include Kyung Hee University, Korea and Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society.
