About the author
Carlos Chimal nació en México, D. F. en 1954. Realizó estudios de química y de lengua y literatura hispánicas en la UNAM. Fue editor en las revistas Avance y Perspectiva y es colaborador habitual en las publicaciones Vuelta, Letras Libres y en la Revista de la UNAM. Es novelista, ensayista y divulgador científico. Tiene más de 14 títulos publicados. También ha escrito libros de texto e imparte talleres sobre el arte y la ciencia. Entre sus obras destacan El viajero científico y Escaramuza.
