About the author

Steve Howard is Director of African Studies and the Institute for the African Child and Professor of Media Arts and Studies at Ohio University. Dr. Howard's research reflects a deep commitment to understanding the ethical, cultural, and political challenges facing African scholars, particularly those from historically marginalized communities.
