Non si può nel caso dell'a. Adottare un simbolo, per il quale la deviazione fra l'osservazione ed il calcolo sia maggiore dell'errore medio delle osservazioni; laonde l'a. Avrebbe dovuto adottare, per quanto è detto di sopra, o l'uno o l'altro dei menzionati simboli e non mai 065; tanto più, che se avesse calcolato l'angolo avrebbe tro vato un'enorme differenza fra l'osservazione e il calcolo.
