Excerpt from Historia de Tlaxcala
Corre esta obra en los manuscritos con el titulo de Pedazo de Historia, por faltarle el principio; aunque según mi parecer, falta muy poco; acaso solamente lo relativo a los toltecas. El original es una relación co rrida, sin división alguna. Aquí se divide en dos li bros: el primero trata de la Historia antigua; y el se gundo de la Conquista, hasta el 59 Virrey D. Álvaro Manrique. A su vez cada libro se divide en capítulos con sus correspondientes sumarios. Al fin se pone el indice respectivo, para facilitar la consulta de la obra.
El Sr. Orozco y Berra me permitió que copiase yo algunas notas escritas por el Sr. D. José Fernando Ra mirez, y éstas van marcadas con su inicial R.
