About the author










Dr. Pamela Ann Gordon is a Senior Research Fellow for the School of Advanced Studies at University of Phoenix. Her varied academic background in Human Resource Management, Organization Leadership and Marketing, is combined with 22 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and more than 15 years of teaching experience. Her research interests include topics in management, organizational behavior, marketing, and human resource management. Dr. Julie A Overbey the Lead Faculty Area Chair for the University of Phoenix Doctor of Management program. With 30 years of professional leadership experience in the U.S. Air Force and commercial industry, she currently services as the Director of Contracts for NTT Security (US). Her work has been published in the Leadership & Organization Development Journal and she also edited a book, Succession Planning: Promoting Organizational Sustainability, alongside her co-editor Dr Gordon.
