Excerpt from Catalogue of the Collections of Coins of John M. White, Walter R. Heinrich and a Philadelphia Collector: Catalogued by Henry Chapman Sold at Public Auction Philadelphia Saturday, December 15, 1917
No coins exhibited during the progress of the sale unless by special request, when every courtesy will be extended that is possible. Collectors are requested to carefully examine the coins while on exhibition, from 9 to o'clock day of sale at the auction rooms, marking their catalogue, thus being prepared. As the sale progresses at the rate of 200 to 250 lots per hour.
I will carefully and faithfully execute any bids entrusted to my care for a commission of 5 per cent. On the amount pur chased. N 0 charge for work done on any lot not bought.
The auctioneers will execute bids free of charge, but assume no responsibility, and require payment prior to delivery of goods.
