Some marriages break up, and some do not, and in our world you can usually explain the former better than the latter. ~Mignon McLaughlin, The Second Neurotic's Notebook, 1966 From daily reports it has been observed that marriages are breaking up on daily basis. In the western world for instance, it has become a norm to divorce a wife or husband at the slightest provocation or dissatisfaction suggested by feeling in most cases. In every five topmost cases in the courts, one must be a divorce suit. A lot of separated homes are alarmingly increasing. Down here in traditional Africa where that free psychology of open divorce has not yet gained ground, we have noticed the worst divorce ever which is either a psychosomatic, spiritual, sexual etc., even when the partners are still putting up together. The directive of God in this respect that "the two are one" falls on deaf ear as culture and satisfaction of man are at the centre stage of consideration when it comes to divorce.
