The number of women subjected to violence increases day by day although we are in the 21st century and there are so many developments in every subject. This situation is revealed every day in the developing Turkish society. This situation is not very different in the Syrians who came to our country. Moreover, violence against women is more common than in our country. The fact that the Syrians living in our country are not aware of their rights in our country (they still think that their husbands can marry with 4 wives), they think that the situation in their country continues and the violence against women increasing exponentially instead of reducing, are issues which must be fought in all around Turkey which is in a cosmopolitan nature. Especially for Kilis, awareness of both Syrians and local residents and the question of what can be done to correct this situation have been focused.
