He illustrated more than 100 books, several of them for the Scribner Classics series. Many of his paintings - and those of his son, Andrew Wyeth, and his grandson, Jamie Wyeth - are exhibited at the Brandywine River Museum of Art, located in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, and situated near the N. C. Wyeth House and Studio.
