About the author
Nur Yiğitoğlu Aptoula is an associate professor in the department of Foreign Language Education at Boğaziçi University (Türkiye) where she teaches courses in the Foreign Language Education undergraduate program and the English Language Teaching graduate program. Her current research focuses on the interface between second language (L2) writing and L2 acquisition, genre-based approaches to teaching of L2 writing, L2 writing teacher expertise, and L2 writing teacher education.
Melinda Reichelt is Distinguished University Professor and Professor of English at the University of Toledo (USA), where she directs the ESL writing program and teaches ESL writing and linguistics. Her research interests include second language writing, pronouns, and world Englishes.
