Additional text

"Best for the youngest audiences, this is an adequate treatment of the theme for those whose shelves lack it.” - Kirkus Reviews

“In this introduction to jealousy, young Sir Tim – costumed in a knightly visor and red cape – goes to the playground with his best friend Sara and his dog, Dragon. Sara plays with another boy, Max, leaving Tim to cope with an uncomfortable pain in his belly that he can’t quite name, and so he resolves to win Sara back by impressing her. He climbs to the top of the jungle gym, walks on the balance beam, and goes way out on a limb (literally). When the limb snaps and Sir Tim crashes to the ground, Sara tells him he must be feeling a little bit jealous. A neat, inclusive resolution follow. The illustrations’ clean lines and soft pastels highlight the action, and sounds add a dynamic element to Koppens’ story.” – Booklist
