Imagine a world where dinosaurs survived... an ancient secret must be unlocked by a boy raised by raptors and his fearless sister as they hunt for a lost city in the jungles of Central America.

Bea and Carter Kingsley's parents went missing twelve years ago whilst trying to uncover the mysteries of the mythical Saurmen and their keystones, which grant the owner tremendous power over all types of saurs. The clues in their parents journals have led them to the Yucutan Peninsula, acquiring a troublesome teenage Brachiosaur on their travels as well as Carter's pet Black Dwarf Tyrant, Buster. Meanwhile the villainous Viscount and his associates, henchman Christian Hayter and the Doctor, an unscrupulous scientist, are also in the area, consorting with rebels plotting to overthrow the government and bankrolling a secret operation in the depths of the rainforests...

About the author

Jay Jay Burridge studied Fine Art Sculpture at Central Saint Martin's College of Art and Design. For his degree show he made a forty-foot-long, self-assembled dinosaur skeleton out of MDF.

After graduating, he took over from the legendary children's TV presenter Tony Hart writing and co-presenting the BBC TV show SMart. This grew into three spin-off series and touring live shows. After this, Jay Jay turned his attention to a career in commercial art for brands such as Sony, Adidas, and Levis; and started his own custom-made deluxe trucker cap brand, Lucky Seven Caps.

In 2010 he returned to his favourite subject, dinosaurs, and exhibited his supersaurs sculptures in Beverly Hills, LA. The 80,000 square-foot space was filled with 15 full-sized supersaurs. With Jamie Oliver, he co-created the Dinersaur Diner, in Piccadilly Circus, London.

Jay Jay lives in Oxfordshire with his family.
