About the author

Irène Lassus-Fuchs is a restauranteur, cook and translator who has lived and worked in Paris for nearly forty years. She opened the higly successful Les Petites Sorcieres restaurant in Rue Liancourt in the Quatorzieme Arrondissment in 1982, and has since established new restaurants in Paris, Strasbourg and Marseille. Her translations include many British and American cook books on cuisine from all over the world, includign several books on the crafts and history of art, architecture and designJulian Spalding is a writer and former museum director for the cities of Sheffield, Manchester and Glasgow. He established the Ruskin Gallery, the St Mungo Museum of Religious Art and Life and Glasgow’s Gallery of Modern Art.
