Ln traité de l'education des filles est le premier ouvrage sorti de la plume de Fénélon. Il fut im prim'é nour la première fois en 1687 et on en a fait depuis plusieurs éditions en France et dans les pays étrangers. En 1715 il fut réimprimé à Paris augmenté d'une lettre que cet illustre et sage écrivain adressa à une bonne mère qui l'avait consulté sur l'éducation de sa fille unique.
