Milo and Shiloh's Big Move tells the story of twin brothers who move to Planet Kronos when their Dad gets a new job. What was supposed to be an exciting journey quickly becomes a harrowing experience, as Milo and Shiloh find out they will have to wear clunky masks to breathe the air on their new home planet. While they have the same interests and desires as the rest of the children on Planet Kronos, they find themselves being bullied simply because they are different, a reality faced by more than 1 in 3 American children every year. This story follows their journey of overcoming adversity and seeks to inspire children to know their self-worth.
Peter De Jianne is an up and coming children's book author and fundraiser for pediatric cancer. He will be donating 100% of net proceeds raised by this book to pediatric cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he is an active volunteer.
