The present book deals with study of applications of Metal Perchlorates as catalytic material in synthesis of biologically active organic compounds. The book also includes an overview of pplications of copper (II) metal in organic synthesis. Copper perchlorate was found to be an efficient catalyst to synthesize open chain as well as heterocyclic organic compounds of commercial importance. All protocols were found to be simple and efficient in terms of reaction time & yield due to use of Copper perchlorate as catalyst.

Dr. Nagesh Raghunath Sutar is currently working as Assistant Professor in Department of Chemistry, Smt. Chandibai Himathmal Mansukhani College, Maharashtra, India. Dr. Nagesh Sutar has completed his Ph.D. under the guidance of Dr. Vishvanath D. Patil from University of Mumbai in 2017. Dr. Nagesh Sutar has 17 publications in international journals.
