Trataremos la primera parte desde el punto de vista histó rico. Nótese, sin embargo, que nuestra disertación ha de ser más canónica que histórica, tanto por ser éste nuestro propó sito, como por no contar en abundancia con fuentes y docu mentos necesarios para poder escribir la historia completa y acabada de la disciplina en cuanto al régimen administrativo de las Diócesis vacantes.
