To find a solution for image blur, a model for motion blur in images was developed and described in detail. The causes of image blur and the application of convolution and deconvolution in image blurring were discussed, as well as how to estimate the degradation function. Next, three commonly used filters for blurring images were experimented, namely inverse filtering, Wiener filtering, and Richardson-Lucy filtering, along with the ringing effects encountered with each filter. Peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) was used to evaluate the experimental results of the above three filters and to identify the filter with the lowest execution time and the best effect.
