Informationen zum Autor Viola A. Burnette (1938 - 2016) was born and raised in South Dakota on the Rosebud Reservation. A graduate of the University of New Mexico School of Law, she provided legal services to the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe, the Rosebud Sioux Tribe, and others. Burnette was the first attorney general for the Rosebud Sioux Tribe and was part of the South Dakota Coalition against Domestic Violence.
